Do Something About Attitudes on Torure
A recent poll reveals that large numbers of people of faith believe that torture is often or sometimes justified in interrogating terrorism suspects. We need to change the hearts and minds of the American people on torture and we need to start with our own church members. APF is a member of the National Religious Committee Against Torture and wants to support a current project goal to have 300 congregations in at least 30 states show a new, revised version of the video "Ending U.S.-Sponsored Torture Forever" and hold a discussion using one of the six discussion guides developed for specific faith groups before April 1, 2010.
